They, however, will be led by a new captain Carlos Brathwaite, who was their hero in the World T20 final against England. Brathwaite was made captain after the sacking of two-time World T20 champion skipper Darren Sammy earlier this month.

The last time these two teams faced each other, India had to suffer a crushing defeat at the hands of West Indies resulting in their ouster from the World T20. Now, India would be keen win the upcoming series and avenge the World T20 semi-final loss.
